The University of Sheffield’s creative writing journal Route 57 launched its seventeenth issue on June 18 on the theme of ‘masks’ with an absolutely superb selection of readings, among whom were Cut Collective’s very own Matt McCabe, A J Moore and Mark Lindsey.

This year’s journal is an online edition containing selections of poetry, prose, non-fiction and play writing and can be downloaded (for free no less) from the Route 57 website.

The editing team, led by Veronica Fibisian and Adam Piette, have pulled together a really impressive collection of writing from the pool of talent linked to University of Sheffield.

In it you will find Matt’s poem e/stranged/fruit, two poems from A J, indeterminate and neutral, alongside Mark’s Kaspar Hauser. It’s a publication that does a lot of good for both new and seasoned writers and is well worth your support.
