Reading at Route 57

Masks Zoom launch and reading: Friday 18 June 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm BST

Masks, issue 17 of Route 57, the University of Sheffield’s creative writing journal, launches on Friday 18 June. Looking forward to reading alongside some awesome contributors to explore the role of masks brought so radically to the fore by the Covid crisis, but also linked to long-standing cultural traditions ‘to question the faces we construct when we enter the public sphere, asking us to challenge and test the layers of artifice and surface that structure the many forms identity takes’.
