A Ghost Story for Christmas: BARGHEST

We’ve already talked this week about one of Cut’s favourite authors MR James and the ghost stories he wrote to read to friends every year on Christmas Eve. Today we’re putting up Mark’s take on the tradition with the story Barghest, set on the bleak North Yorkshire Moors above Whitby overlooked by the imposing RAF Fylingdales. You can read it, and other writings from Cut Collective, here. Switch off the lights, spark up some candles, pour a glass of your favourite tipple and prepare for a chill. Enjoy.
