Helen Angell launches multi-media art project celebrating ‘place’

Following last summer’s Commonplace Beauty, For The Love Of is Helen Angell’s new project. This year Helen and University of Sheffield students, Jess and Jude, are digging deeper into the places we love through photography and writing. They will be joined by writer, Nik Perring, and reunited with photographer, Richard Davis. Join them for free online and in-person workshops – details and bookings are in their Linktree on social media pages @_ftlvo

This year they are looking for 50 photographs and 50 short pieces of prose (up to 200 words) or poetry (up to 20 lines) for a digital publication as well as for a video using images and spoken word. You can send pieces to their email: ftlvo22@gmail.com as well as tagging them in using the hashtag #_ftlvo or by DM.

This project is funded by TAP at University of Sheffield and enables collaboration between students and practitioners.

Guidance for Entries

We invite you to celebrate ‘place’ through the theme of For The Love Of in photography or writing, in a style of your own choosing. Written pieces should be no more than 200 words in length and poems no more than 20 lines.
